Jeanne A. Barrett

Jeanne A. Barrett,  58, of Mancelona, passed away on December 28, 2024 at Munson Medical Center. 

   Jeanne was born on February 18, 1966, in Royal Oak, MI, the daughter of Marvin and Vera (York) Barrett. 

     She was a very generous person and always helped anyone in need.   She loved going to yard sales and shopping deals on the internet.   

   She was a big fan of American Idol, going to bonfires, listening to country music, puzzles, and loved animals, especially her 3 dogs. 

   Surviving are 3 children, Anthony Bucco of Traverse City, Todd (Christine) Dean of Manton, Megan (Taylor) Yaster of Traverse City, her life partner Terry Williams of Mancelona, 10 grandchildren, Austin, Natalie, A.J., Natasha, Zoey, Olivia, Ethan, Hannah, Myrah and Kyren as well as many siblings. 

   She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings. 

   No services are planned at this time.   There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date and will be announced when details become available. 

   Memorial contributions may be made to HANDDS to the Rescue, P.O. Box 1953, Traverse City, MI,  49685. 

   Arrangements are in the care of the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
