Janet M. Nelson

Janet M. Nelson,  88, of Bellaire, passed away on March 27, 2022 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility.

   Janet was born on July 28, 1933, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Jules and Laura (Witte) Guelbert.

  She was a  woman of strong Catholic values and faith. 

   Surviving are a sister Joan Hughes of Bellaire, 2 nieces, Laura (James) Goff of KS, and Julie (Jeff) Parton of Cadillac, MI.

   Preceding her in death were her husband William Nelson in 2019 as well as her parents.

   Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church in Bellaire.   Fr. Chet Collins will officiate.

   She will be taken to St. Louis, MO, following services to be interred along with her late husband in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

   Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Catholic Church.

   Arrangements are being handled by the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
