Janet Koloski

Janet L. Brown Koloski, age 81 of Bellaire passed away on February 2, 2018 at Meadowbrook Medical Care Facility.

Janet was born on May 27, 1936 in Charlevoix to the late Edward and Leona (Toogood) Streeter.

Janet made friends easily and maintained lifelong contact with many of them. She was filled with compassion and interest in others. She took delight in meeting people wherever she went. Throughout her life she enjoyed dancing to country music, going to garage sales, baking for her friends and family, and talking on the phone.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Donna Green of Lansing, Trudy (John) Mann of Central Lake, Rhonda (Walt) Mann of Bellaire, brother, Richard (Sue) Streeter of Grandville, 7 grandchildren, Jodie, Nicholas (Jason), Doug, Morgan, David, Elisabeth, Noel, 6 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews and her companion and best friend of 28 years, Wayne Feneley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Bob Brown, grandson, J.D. Mann, and brothers, Larry and Bill Streeter.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to your local food pantry.
