Jane O'Driscoll

Jane P. O’Driscoll,  71, of Bellaire, passed away on August 15, 2018 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility.

Jane was born on March 24, 1947, in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Richard and Catherine (Grieves) Henry.

Jane loved children, teaching,  and outdoor activities, especially walking, camping, hiking, bike riding and cross country skiing.

She also loved music and sang in the choirs  at St. Luke Catholic Church and the Bellaire Community United Methodist Church.

Her constant smile would always brighten everyone’s day.

On June 21, 1969, in Philadelphia, she married James M. O’Driscoll Jr. who survives.  Also surviving are 4 children, Doreen (Terrence) Javorsky of Belleville, MI, Megan (Cory) Groth of Huntsville, AL, Jane (Michael) Rose of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, James III (Kristen) O’Driscoll of Cincinnati, OH, a sister Noel (David) Lukeson of Moneta, VA, as well as 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Patricia.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church in Bellaire with Fr. Chet Collins officiating.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of mass.

A luncheon will follow mass at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bellaire Community Food Pantry, 205 E. Broad St., Bellaire, MI,  49615.

Arrangements are being handled by the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
