Jane Lewicki

Jane Ellen Lewicki, 59, of Mancelona, lost her battle with breast cancer and went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2016. Jane was born on December 1, 1956, in Flint, MI, the daughter of Hubert and Margaret (Shepherd) Haneline. Jane was an avid quilter, enjoyed gardening, camping and spending Holidays with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Gerald "Wick" Lewicki of Mancelona, four children, Angie (Chad) Karsten of Grand Rapids, Gerald Lewicki Jr. of Mancelona, Amber (Tom) Shanahan of Mancelona, Greg Lewicki of Mancelona, five grandchildren, twins: Kaley and Breanna, Brady, Drew and Cole as well as seven siblings, James (Shelly) Federick, Ken Federick, Vicky (Billy) Zirnhelt, Margaret Scholl, Darrell (Brenda) Haneline, Tom Haneline, Craig (Shannon) Haneline and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Marty Federick. A gathering of friends and family will take place on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Memorial services will follow on Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home with Pastor John Murray officiating. Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery in Mancelona at a later date.
