Jane Grimes

Jane Carole Grimes, 85, of Mancelona, MI, formerly of Haddon Heights and then Southampton, NJ, went to be with the Lord on October 16, 2018. Jane was born August 23, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert L. Snedaker.  Jane is remembered for her faith in Jesus, a giving spirit, and her love of family and church. She also enjoyed yard sales, flea markets, football and fishing with her husband, Milt. Jane found great fulfillment serving as a church secretary for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Milton H. Grimes of 60 years, brothers Albert and William Snedaker and grandson Benjamin Grimes. Jane is survived by three children: Milton H. Jr. (Theresa) Grimes of Atco, NJ, Elaine (Dominic) Aceto of Bellmawr, NJ, and Dan (Alice) Grimes of Mancelona, MI; brother-in-law: Howard Grimes of Milton, FL and sister-in-law, Grace Alderman of Clayton, NJ; ten grandchildren: Kathryn, Milton, Kristin, Daniel II, Jessica, Alli, Philip, Amanda, Scott and Samantha; six great-grandchildren: Audrey, Daniel III, L.J., Susan, Joseph and Carson; and several nieces and nephews. She will be continually remembered and greatly missed. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 12:00 with refreshments to follow at Pathway Community Church 416 S. Williams St. Mancelona (231-587-8581). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pathway Community Church/Hands & Feet program.
