James Robbins

James J. Robbins, 72, of Mancelona, passed away on July 15, 2019 at Grandvue Medical Care Facility.

James was born on March 13, 1947, the son of Edgar and Marian (Hulbert) Robbins.

James was a lifelong resident of Mancelona and was employed by Dura Automotive for many years.

He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by 3 children, Mike Robbins of Mancelona, Monica Robbins of Mancelona, Travis Robbins of Traverse City, 3 grandchildren, Summer Robbins, Gavin Robinson, Gage Robbins, his mother Marian Robbins-Hansen of Mancelona, a brother Dale Robbins, 2 sisters, Sherry (Carl) Kuczynski of Mancelona, Sharon Bryan of Rapid City, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Jimmy and Jeff Robbins as well as his father Edgar Robbins.

A memorial gathering will be this Saturday, July 20th at 3 Pm, at 1500 Leonard Rd in Mancelona.

Memorial contributions may be made to Grandvue Medical Care Facility in East Jordan.

Arrangements are being handled by the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
