James Baumgardner

JAMES C. BAUMGARDNER 70, of Gaylord, died Saturday, March 24, 2007 at McReynolds Hall in Gaylord. He was born November 8, 1936 in Gaylord, the son of Charles and Elzoria (Woods) Baumgardner. He worked for Standard Products of Gaylord for eight years and owned and operated Jim's Used Furniture for many years following. Jim enjoyed bicycle riding and repair, snow shoeing, and fishing. On July 5, 1959 in Gaylord, he married Romaine D. Borowiak who survives. Also surviving are three children, Charles (Sheila) Baumgardner of Andersonville, TN, Joann (Bob) Lindsteadt of Gaylord, Peggy (James) Lorentz of Tacoma, WA, six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Floyd, Melvin and George, a step brother and a step sister. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at One p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes, with Sam McClellan officiating. Interment will be in Hayes Twp. Cemetery.
