JACQUELINE Zelle WATSON 80, of Central Lake, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 22, 2010. She passed away at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire. Jackie was born January 6, 1930 in Central Lake, the daughter of Spencer and Leota (Addington) Arnold. She was a devoted member of the Eastport Baptist Church and resided in the Central Lake area all of her life. Jackie was an avid volunteer with children through the school system and along with her husband Ken was a foster parent for many years. She was proud to receive an Associate of Arts degree from North Central Michigan College in Petoskey after attending classes as an adult for about twenty years. On September 1, 1950 in Eastport, she married Kenneth Watson who survives. Also surviving are five children, Jerolyn (Dennis) Aenis of Central Lake, Graydon Kenneth (Rosemary) Watson of Indpls, IN, Julie Ann (Ronald) Smith of Kewadin, Patricia Joy Klooster of Central Lake, Dale Robert (Sherry) Watson of Charlotte, NC, 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Homer, Melvin, Cecil and Robert Arnold and a sister, Virginia Hall. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Two p.m. at the Eastport Baptist Church, with Pastor Jerry Troyer officiating. Interment will follow at Southern Cemetery, Central Lake Twp. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
