Jacqueline C. Stahl, 76 of Bellaire, passed away September 25, 2022 at home.  She was born Aug. 5, 1946 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Peter and Effie (Rogers) Grevers.

  Jackie was a devout Catholic and an active member of St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church.  She worked as a teacher’s aid, recess lady, and in the lunch room for many years at the Bellaire Public Schools.  

  Jackie loved to host family and friends for holidays, summer barbecues, hunting season, and any occasion that brought everyone together. She especially loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.  Jackie enjoyed watching the birds, gardening, walking, cooking, planting, horses, and watchingfigure skating.  She also enjoyed refinishing old furniture in her spare time.  Jackie was a dedicated sports fan, favoring the Detroit Tigers and Lions the most!

  Left to cherish her memory are her nine children, Chrissy Stahl of Bellaire, Kathie (Mark) Fleet of Bellaire, Dan (Linda) Harris of Pinckney, Paul (Kerri) Harris of Lowell, Alan Harris of Whitehall, Susan Stahl of Bay City, Stuart Stahl of Folsom, CA, Shane Stahl of Pellston, Scott (Petra) Stahl of Kalkaska, two brothers Pete (Janet) Grevers of Battle Creek, Chuck Grevers of Maryland, three sisters, Theresa Preston of St. Louis, MI, Marie (Bob) Bagwell of Battle Creek, Louise (Gib) Gould of Battle Creek, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.   

  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl Stahl in 2013, stepson Steve Stahl, brother Bill Grevers, sister Betty Nelson, and infant sister Virginia Grevers.

  Visitation will be held Thursday, September 29th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.

  Mass of a Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 30th at 11 a.m. at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Bellaire with Fr. Chet Collins officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service.  Interment will follow mass in Lakeview Cemetery, Bellaire.
