JACK "JACKIE" BEDELL CLARK, 41, of Bellaire, passed away Monday, January 16 at home with his mother at his side. Jackie was born February 11, 1970 in Traverse City, Michigan, he was adopted 3 days later by Jere and Ruth Clark. Jackie started to attend school in Traverse City at a young age and because of this, Ruthie started to drive school bus. He attended the Adult Work Center in Traverse City until he graduated in 1996. Jackie lived a simple happy life, he loved his family and his home. He also enjoyed spending time at his job at Ruthie's Dairy Twist keeping everyone on their toes, when he went to get his diet coke or wanted to eat something that he shouldn't have. Jackie is survived by his parents, Jere and Ruth Clark, sisters, Patti Lowery, Jan Clark, Jill Chisolm all of Bellaire, Jennie Clark of Brandon, Fla., Julie Clark of Mancelona,and brothers John Michael Clark of Mancelona, Jeffery Ricky, Jere Casey all of Bellaire and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Scotty and Ruby Bedell, Jack and Jean Clark, aunt Flossie Hagerman, uncle Warren Clark, and uncle Jack Hagerman. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, January 19 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Pastor Chris Wallace will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services on Thursday. Interment will take place in Eldred Cemetery, Kearney Township. Memorial contributions may be directed to his family.
