Jack Roberson

Jack L. Roberson, 86, of Mancelona, passed away on September 19, 2016 at Munson Medical Center. Jack was born on June 21, 1930, in Middletown, OH, the son of Thomas and Virginia (McNabb) Roberson. Jack enjoyed many outdoor activities such as snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, shooting guns, riding his lawnmower as well as others. He grew up in Bellfast, OH and lived in other parts of OH before moving to Mancelona in 1996. He was a longtime member of the Eagles in Buckeye Lake, OH. On May 1, 1998, in Dresden, OH, he married Marian Sedlock who survives. Also surviving are 5 children, Arletta (David) Ruton of Buckeye Lake, OH, Jacalyn (Warren) Patten of Pataskala, OH, Martina (Charlie) Sparks of Reynoldsburg, OH, Randy (Candice) Roberson of Reynoldsburg, OH, Ricky Roberson of Columbus, OH, 4 step- children, Scott Householder of Pataskala, OH, Donna (John) Bowser of Marysville, OH, Jodi (Jean) Householder of Portland, OR, Erica McLoughlin of Upper Arlington, OH, a brother, Thomas (Jenny) Roberson of Hillsboro, OH, 2 sisters, Guilda Kissell of Centerville, OH, Olga Conley of Hillsboro, OH, 11 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Vickie Wells, a son Rodney Roberson, 2 sisters, Harriet Kimberlin, Violet Schmidt as well as his parents. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ross Corne officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME, Reynoldsburg, OH.
