Ina Hiatt

Ina M. Hiatt, 83, of Mancelona, passed away on October 19, 2015 at her home. Ina was born on November 15, 1931, in North Branch, MI, the daughter of Fred and Ina L. (Essler) Clark. Ina loved being with her family and was a very loving and supportive mother to her 7 children. She is survived by 7 children, Lyndell (Delores) Carter of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, David (Kathy) Carter of Mancelona, Fred Hiatt of Mancelona, Kathleen Hiatt of Mancelona, Kenneth Hiatt of Sault Ste Marie, MI, Tim (Donna) Hiatt of Lake of the Ozark, Missouri, Colleen Hiatt of Mancelona, many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert Hiatt, several brothers and sisters as well as her parents. A celebration of life service will take place on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services. A chapel committal service will take place on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Mills Township Cemetery in Ogemaw County. Memorial contributions may be made to Munson Hospice. Arrangements are being handled by the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
