Hilda Knott

Hilda M. Knott, 102, of Bellaire, passed away on November 30, 2013, at Meadowbrook Medical Care Facility. Hilda was born December 27, 1910, in Elkton, MI, daughter of Frank & Katherine Alexander. She raised her family in Flint, MI. She moved to Central Lake in 2000 and at the age of 90, she was initiated into the Waldo Chapter #180, Order of the Eastern Star. She was also an Honorary Member of the Northwest Shrine Club. She lived independently in her Central Lake apartment until 2008, when she went into Meadowbrook. She considered that her home then and all of the wonderful staff became her family, too. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Knott, son, Eugene Watts, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her son Bob (Glenda) Knott; 5 grand children; Christy (Mark) LaVene; Julie Beck; Dennis Watts; Debbie Howell; Lynda Watts; 7 great grand children; Leah Knott; Emily Beck; Laura (Andrew) Pavey; Timothy Watts; Traci (Kirk) Boshaw; Robbie (Dawn) Polovina; Lesa (Mike) Daigneau; also 12 great great grand children. She was a kind & wonderful Mother, Mother-In-Law and Grandmother, and she will be missed. Cremation has taken place, and is being handled by the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
