Helen Sattler

Helen D. Sattler, age 62, of Central Lake passed away on July 27, 2018 at Munson Hospice House.

Helen was born on June 12, 1956 in Detroit to the late Thomas G. and Joyce L. (Wood) Moody. She enjoyed spending her time panning for gold, collecting Petoskey stones, gambling with her husband, and being outdoors especially camping in the Upper Peninsula.

Helen is survived by her children, Larry Sattler of TN, Jennifer Sattler-Wilson (Chad Wilson) of NC, Liz Sattler (Fiancé Andrew Mellon) of Sparta and Tammy (Jarrod) Mosher of Traverse City, brothers, Al Moody of East Jordan, Thomas (Phyllis) Moody of Attleboro, MA, Jonny Moody of Fowlerville, MI, sister Loretta (James) Sowders of Garden City, MI and sister-in-law, Sue Moody of East Jordan along with several nieces and nephews.

On February 25, 1979 in Farmington, Helen married Alan “Butch” Sattler who preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 2017.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Wilber "Leroy" Moody.

Interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI at a later date.
