Helen Groesser

HELEN L. GROESSER, 81, of Bellaire, died Saturday, December 28, 2008 at home. She was born may 31, 1927, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Lynn and Rose (Warner) Whisple. Helen moved to Bellaire in 1962. She waited tables at Mrs. Pete's for many years and worked at Shanty Creek in the Accounting department for 18 years. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and skiing. Helen also taught Tatting and made tatted lace. Helen is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Steve) Hurd of Bellaire and two grandchildren, April and Crystal. She was preceded in death by her son Dee Jay Groesser as well as her parents. A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, December 30th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
