Helen Arthur

Helen E. Arthur, age 91 of Charlevoix passed away on December 16, 2018 at Munson Healthcare Charlevoix Hospital.

Helen was born on October 30, 1927 in Detroit to the late Joseph E. and Tressa A. (Marshall) Parker. She enjoyed spending her time with family, reading, knitting, crocheting and praying nightly. Helen will be remembered as the very happy, funny, loving lady who put everyone else first.

Helen is survived by her children, Joseph (Shirley) Arthur of Redford, MI, Dorothy (Chuck) Metzger of Charlevoix, Peter (Mary) Arthur of East Jordan, John (Patti) Arthur of Cass City, MI, Lorraine (Joe) Niswander; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Arthur, sisters, Betty Ritchie, Mary Lord, Florence Parker, stepson, Timothy Arthur along with her parents.
