Harvey G. Allison

Harvey G. Allison Jr., 91 years old, died peacefully on September 3, 2023 at the Meadowbrook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire, Michigan. Harvey was born January 27, 1932 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the son of Virgie (Smith) and Harvey G. Allison, Sr.

Harvey married the love of his life and high school sweetheart Marion (Coulter) and they began their journey as a married couple in 1952.  Harvey served his country in the United States Air Force and is a Veteran of the Korea War. The loving couple moved to Lake Orion, Michigan close to family and friends to raise their own family, where he made a career of working at Pontiac Motors as a production manager, and upon retirement, this loving couple pursued their dreams by traveling across the country sightseeing in their motorhome.   

Harvey lived a long and happy life filled with many memories of spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed the great outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his many grandchildren at family gatherings and by watching their participation in various sporting events. 

Harvey’s surviving family members include his children and their spouses: Steve (Roberta), Roger, (Laurie), Debbie Choike (Dan), Mike (Nichole), Harvey Eric (Trish); his sister Shirley Walker: and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife Marion (2016); son, Paul (1993); and sister, Bonnie.

A private family burial will take place at Square Lake Cemetery, in Lake Orion, at a later date to be announced this fall.
