Harry W. Rideoutt, 86, of Bellaire and formerly of Central Lake, died Sat. Dec. 26, 2009 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire. He was born Aug. 30, 1923, in Detroit, the son of Thomas and Lillian Rideoutt. Harry proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the Torch Post VFW #6985. He was also a member of the Belltower Reformed Church in Ellsworth. He worked for many years at Mt. Clemens Metal Products which was also known as Dura in East Jordan. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, and golfing. In November 1946, in Detroit, he married Flora Jean Bailie who survives. He is also survived by his children Carol Douglas of Cleveland, TN, Michael (Jill) Rideoutt of Lansing, and Bob Rideoutt of Central Lake, 6 grandchildren and several siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 4, 2010, at One p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends Monday, Jan. 4, from Eleven a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake.
