Haley Wilson

Haley Marie Wilson, 23 of Charlevoix passed away November 19, 2021 at Munson Medical Center surrounded by loved ones.

Haley graduated from East Jordan High School in 2016.  She was currently attending North Central Michigan College, finishing her Special Education degree through Lake Superior State.  She was employed with her dream job at Charlevoix Emmet Intermediate Schools as a Special Education Teacher’s Assistant.  She loved her job and helping others.  She also worked in nursing homes, assisted living homes, AFC homes and the hospital.  Her heart was bigger than anyone could imagine.

Haley not only loved photography and arts, camping, long walks, movies and her animals but her true passion was cooking for Morgan and trying new recipes.  She could always be found breezing through Pinterest.

Haley leaves behind a family that loved her more than life.  Surviving are her parents Doug and Janette (Henderson) Wilson, brother and best friend Nick Wilson all of East Jordan her boyfriend, soon to be fiancé Morgan Stewart of Charlevoix, maternal grandparents Sally and Bob Holley of Gaylord, paternal grandmother Catherine Wilson of Clare, special aunts and uncles Ron and Shannon Henderson, Jay and Kathleen Marhofer, Eileen Denhard, Don and Charlene Merritt and Ken and Marlene Ingraham as well as many more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Paul Wilson, maternal grandfather Bernard James Henderson, and uncle Dennis Denhard.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 26th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.  A private burial will take place in Dunsmore Cemetery, Echo Township.  Memorial contributions can be directed to the family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
