Gregory Sikorski

Gregory Sikorski, 79, of Charlevoix, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, at his home.  He was born on January 4, 1945, in Detroit, the son of Eugene and Alexandra (Weislik) Sikorski.

Greg graduated from high school near Hamtramck, and enlisted in the United States Army shortly after.  After serving in Vietnam, he returned to the Detroit area for several years. He then moved to Charlevoix to help bartend at the Town House, which his Aunt and Uncle owned; what he thought was going to be a brief relocation turned into his home for the next 50 plus years.  Greg was a skilled carpenter and painter, and worked on many  homes in the area over the years.  In his down time, he enjoyed fishing, watching old westerns, hockey, and football (always rooting for the teams from Michigan).

Greg is survived by two sons, Chris (Kathy) Sikorski of Charlevoix, and George Sikorski of Alaska; and his brother, Rick Sikorski of Charlevoix.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Greg's family will celebrate his life at a later date.
