Gordon Moran

GORDON M. "MATT" MORAN 49, of Bellaire, died Friday, August 24, 2007 at home. Matt was born August 27, 1957 in Ypsilanti, the son of Henry and Della (Durham) Moran. He was raised in Belleville and graduated from high school there in 1975. He also served on the Belleville Volunteer Fire Department. He moved to Bellaire in 1981 and owned and operated the Aero Park Rental and Storage Inc. On February 28, 1976 in Westland, he married Cheryl L. McKelvey who survives. Also surviving are three children, Richard (Barbara) Moran, Christina Dennis and Cathy (Travis) Willson all of Bellaire, his parents Henry and Della Moran of Dundee, a brother Lonnie (Julie) Moran of Bellaire, two sisters Sheila Prince of Dundee, Lisa (Grant) Elias of Canton, six grandchildren, Tyler and Kaitlyn Moran, Zachary and Andrew Dennis, Elliott and Isaac Willson, his father and mother in law, Gerald and Louanna McKelvey of Belleville, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson Timothy Richard Moran. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes, with Pastor Tim Manzer officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Flewelling Cemetery in Kearney Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
