Glenda McIntire

Glenda A. McIntire, 77, of Kalkaska, passed away May 14, 2012 at Munson Hospice House. She was born August 26, 1934 in Chestonia Township, Michigan, the daughter of Vercil and Margaret Johnson. Glenda attended St. Matthews Lutheran Church and the Missionary Church in Mancelona several years ago. She loved to write and paint. She enjoyed her lake house and the water. Her pride and joy was her family. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by four children, Robert M. (Kristi) McIntire, Bonnie L. (Bryan) DePue, Kathleen R. (John) Bucholtz and Wendy A. McIntire; a special sister in law, Nancy (Edwin) Dunning; four grandchildren, Bruce, Chris, Ashley and Ethan; and three great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Riely and Collin. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Randy Burgess officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Reformed Church, 1139 E.
