Glenda Ruth Diamond, 53 of Farmington Hills and Bellaire, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Munson Medical Center. She was born June 17, 1957, in Detroit, the daughter of Gerald and Ruth Ann (Ballard) Doris. On August 9, 1979, she married the love of her life, Mike Diamond. Her and Mike resided in Farmington Hills for much of her life and was in the process of settling down in their Bellaire home. Glenda was a smart and accomplished business woman. She was the CFO of American Interlock after owning and operating Diamond Builders and Diamond Properties. Not only was she a business woman, she was a dedicated and loving mother, wife, and daughter. She spent her free time with her collection of birds, gardening, and decorating their homes. She is survived by her parents, husband, two sons Aaron Louis and Andrew Howard Diamond both of Farmington Hills and two brothers Kenneth (Naomi) Doris of Belleville, MI and Ronald Doris of Wayne County, MI. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, June 5, at 4 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Steve Eccles officiating. The family will be receiving friends Saturday, June 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Antrim County High Tea P.O.
