Gertrude M. (Clark) Curtis Koskuba, 100, of Charlevoix, passed away July 31, 2015, at Boulder Park Terrace in Charlevoix. Gert was born October 7, 1914, in Charlevoix.

She is survived by her son, Gary Curtis; daughter Gail Parker; and daughter-in-law, Myrna Curtis all of Charlevoix; brother, Charles (Joyce) Reinhart of Grand Rapids; six grandchildren, Daniel Parker, Christina (Donald) Bannes, Rebecca Parker, Katherine Curtis, Tracine (Travis) Hummel, Russell (Tobi) Curtis; eleven great-grandchildren, Parker, Cassidy, Shannon, Hero, Suzanne, Gordon, Molly, Matthew, David, Chloe, and Lily; three great-great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Kaden, and Benjamin; cousin, Betty (Gerald) Fielstra.

Gert was preceded in death by her husband, Russell “Pat” Curtis in 1965; son, Tracy Curtis in 2011; granddaughter, Suzanne Jo Curtis in 1978; grandson, Rusty Parker in 1988; her mother, Elizabeth Reinhart; sister, Anne Korth Racignol; and by Eldon Drake and John Koskuba.

Gert was greatly loved and adored by all her family and by anyone fortunate enough to have known her. She will be remembered for her grace, kindness, and giving personality.

You are now at peace, Beautiful Lady.

Gertrude will rest next to her husband at the Brookside Cemetery in Charlevoix. Family friend, Jim Mort, will officiate services at the cemetery at 2:30 pm, Sunday, August 16. A gathering for family and friends will follow at the Ferry Beach Pavilion A, where thoughts and memories can be shared of Gert's life.
