Gerald "Wick" Lewicki

Gerald John "Wick" Lewicki, 62 of Mancelona died peacefully, Dec. 6, 2017 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born Sept. 17, 1955 in St. Claire Shores, the son of Stanley and Stella (Kraft) Lewicki.  Wick was an avid outdoorsman and jack of all trades.  He loved tinkering in his garage, golfing with his boys and camping.

Surviving are his loving children Angie (Chad) Karsten of Grandville, Gerald (Heidi) Lewicki Jr of Mancelona, Amber (Tom) Shanahan of Gaylord, Greg Lewicki of Mancelona, seven grandchildren twins Kaley and Breanna, Brady, Hayden, Drew, Cole, and Elijah, siblings Richard Lewicki of Jackson, FL, Jeffrey Lewicki of Charlotte, NC, Diane (Danny) Thomas of Peck, MI, Amy (Ray) Letourneau of Houghton Lake, MI, Stanley Lewicki of Marshall, MI and step-mother Elzora Morgan.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Jane Ellen Lewicki in 2016.

Funeral services will be held Mon. Dec. 11, at 11 a.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Mark McCool officiating.  Visitation will be Sun. Dec. 10 from 3 to 6 p.m. also at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona and a luncheon will follow the funeral service.  Memorial contributions can be given to Antrim County High Tea for Breast Cancer Prevention, PO BOX 218, Bellaire, MI 49615.
