Geraldine Plumm

Geraldine Marie Plumm, 85, of Charlevoix, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Boulder Park Terrace Nursing Home. She was born August 24, 1929, in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. to Peter and Beatrice Baier. Geraldine grew up in the Soo, and graduated from Sault Ste. Marie High School.

On August 30, 1947, she married Robert Jay Plumm in Sault Ste. Marie. They moved to Charlevoix in 1956.

Geraldine was a member of Saint Mary's Church in Charlevoix.

She is survived by her sons, Jim Plumm, David (Kathy) Plumm, Carl Plumm, and Bob (Brenda) Plumm all of Charlevoix; grandchildren, Forrest, Richard, Jeff, Nathan, Walter, Jordan, and Amanda; four great-grandchildren.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her son Richard who was killed in Vietnam in 1971; her husband Robert in 1966; brother, Dale; sisters, Eldine and Eleanor.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, August 5, at the Winchester Funeral Home in Charlevoix. Funeral mass will be 11 am, Thursday, August 6, at Saint Mary's Church in Charlevoix, the Reverend Joseph Kuczborski officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Chapel Gardens in Sault Ste. Marie.
