Gerald Huffman

Gerald W. Huffman, 79 of Elmira passed away on December 2, 2020 at his home.

Jerry was born on January 7, 1941 in Newberry, MI the son of Dennis and Blossom (Berry) Huffman.

He was a very faithful man who put God and his family first in life.  He had an amazing sense of humor with an infectious smile and laugh.  He never judged anyone and gave everyone a chance.

On June 13, 1959 in Bellaire he married Sharon Ordway who survives.  Also surviving are 7 children, William (Sherri) Huffman of East Jordan, Penny (Kurt) Hibbler of Vanderbilt, Gerald (Judy) Huffman of Kenton, MI, Michael (Tonya) Huffman of Alba, Tammy Padgett of Elmira, Brian (Loriza) Huffman of Evans, GA, Dawn (Jeffrey) Berry of Morley, MI, 23 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, a sister Linda (Pete Sr.) Hoogerhyde and a brother Robert Huffman both of Alba along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, James and Dennis Huffman and a great grandson Devin Huffman.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial will follow in Star Township Cemetery, Alba.  Due to the current pandemic, masks are required.
