Gary Willison

Gary L. Willison, 55, of Kalkaska, passed away on July 3, 2013. Gary was born on August 28, 1957, in Fairfield, IL., the son of Wayne and Margaret (VanFleet) Willison. Gary was employed in the Oil Industry for over 34 years and was a resident of Kalkaska since age 14. He loved spending time with his 3 grandchildren. He also enjoyed camping, trail riding, fishing and was known as a "hard worker" his whole life. On December 2, 1978, in Kalkaska, he married Tamra L. Luinstra who survives. Also surviving are a son Jeramy (Morningstar) Willison of Grawn, 3 grandchildren, Pruedance, Jeramy Jr, and Aubrey Willison all of Grawn, a brother Darel (Ruthann) Willison of Kalkaska, a sister Mary Douthit of Evansville, IN. and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Joshua Michael Willison as well as his parents. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, July 10 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Baptist Church in Kalkaska. Pastor William D. Kuiper will officiate. Visitation will be from noon until the time of service at the Church. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
