Frieda Kingsbury

Frieda L. Kingsbury, 90, of Echo Township, died peacefully at home on October 23, 2016. She was born June 11, 1926 in Ypsilanti the daughter of Bina and Mary Anna Pepper. Frieda loved the outdoors and animals. She especially loved cats. Frieda enjoyed reading, doing crosswords, and putting together puzzles. Surviving Frieda is her daughter Cheryl (Ron Potter) Demusky of Charlevoix, grandson Kipp Demusky of Central Lake, and great granddaughter Julia Demusky of Traverse City. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd who died in 2013 after 67 wonderful years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 12 siblings. Funeral services will be held Thurs. Oct. 27, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Dunsmore Cemetery.
