Frederica Crandall

Frederica Ann Crandall, 93, of Bellaire, died Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility. She was born February 18, 1916 in Charlevoix, Michigan. She grew up in East Jordan and moved to Bellaire in 1935. Frederica was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Bellaire and the Bellaire Lioness. She worked for 11 years at the Department of Social Services in Antrim County. Frederica enjoyed quilting, crocheting and ceramics. On January 9, 1935 in Bellaire she married Victor H. Crandall who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son Ronald Crandall, grandson Jason Crandall in 1997 and great granddaughter Holly Greenman in 2007. She is survived by her sons Robert (Helen) of Howard City, Roger (Linda) of Bellaire, and Dean of Bellaire, 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 3rd, at Two p.m. at the Hope Lutheran Church in Bellaire with Rev. Raymond Parent officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 2nd for 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Memorial donations may be directed to the Hope Lutheran Church.
