Fred Mangold

Fred Mangold, 79, of Bellaire, passed away on July 1 , 2014 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Fred was born on September 30, 1934, in Brown City, MI, the son of George and Mary (Bender) Mangold. Fred enjoyed golfing, working as a golf ranger at Shanty Creek Resorts, and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. He also served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. On January 12, 1957, in East Detroit, he married Donna Brase who preceded him in death on June, 23, 2014. Also preceding him in death were a son Michael as well as his parents. He is survived by 7 children, Debbie (Bill) Lepley of Kansas City, MO, Mindy (Daryl) VonBehren also of Kansas City, Barb (Kevin) Luke of Hancock, MI, Theresa (Fred) MacDonald of Sterling Heights, MI, Kathy (Ken) Stephens of Fraser, MI, Douglas (Carmen) Mangold of Fort Worth, TX, Colleen (Jim) Bennett of Macomb, MI, a brother George (Marlene) Mangold of Flo, a sister Judy (Den) Raczak of AZ, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as his beloved dog Lucy.
