Frances Moore

Frances “Chris” Moore,  55, of Jordan Township, passed away on January 27, 2021 at his home.

Chris was born on December 27, 1965, in Kalkaska.

He was a member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians and loved the outdoors.   He worked in tree service for many years and was very knowledgeable about great mother nature.

He was an excellent mechanic and is described as a “gentle” soul who loved being around his family.

On October 31, 2009, in East Jordan, he married Joy Gaymer who survives.   Also surviving are 2 sons, Christopher Moore of Brimley, MI, Frances “Frankie” Moore of Standish, MI, 2 brothers, Edward (Jessica) Moore, Randall “Randy” Moore, a sister, Stephanie (Matt) Keating as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Barb Moore.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 30 at 2:00 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with viewing starting at 1:00 p.m. until time of services.
