Evelyn E. Graham, 79, of East Jordan, died Wednesday, October 2, 2019 following a sudden illness, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born and raised and lived her whole life in East Jordan.  On July 20, 1957, she married David Graham. Evelyn was a farm wife for many years and raised 5 children.   She was employed by Char Em for 16 years and she owned and operated Evelyn’s Tax Service for 26 years.

Her passions were raising her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids as well as knitting, gardening, canning and crafting.   She bowled over 40 years on the same ladies’ league and she belonged to Ladies Get Together Club of North Echo her whole adult life.

Evelyn enjoyed camping locally and in Canada.  The last few years she could only make it to the campsite for the meal.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her father, parents, in-laws, husband David and most recently her mother at the age of 98.

She is survived by her children, Cindy (Gary) White of Hastings, Denny (Denise) Graham, Andy (Vicki) Graham, Coke (Dave) Beauvais, Ren (Nicole) all of East Jordan, 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandkids and multiple nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 4, from 6-8 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, October 5, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lighthouse Missionary Church in East Jordan with Rev. Bart Adams officiating.

Burial will immediately follow in Morehouse Cemetery, Echo Township.
