Evelyn Brown

Evelyn M. Brown, 89, died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at her home in Alba. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 4:00 P.M. at the Alba United Methodist Church. Pastor Gerald Klooster will officiate. Evelyn was born on January 15, 1919 in Alba, the daughter of Robert and Anna Catherine (Anderson) Hubbard. She enjoyed reading and engaging people in conversations. Evelyn was a very spunky and happy person. She loved to laugh. She is survived by Phyllis (Robert) Hudack of Central Lake, Barbara Siglow of Akron, Ohio, Norma (Lloyd) Stark of Magnolia, Texas, Joann (Gary) Erickson of Illinois and Leon Brown of Akron, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; one brother, Lee (Eileen) Hubbard of Mancelona and Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Brown on March 3, 2003; four sisters; and fifteen brothers. Arrangements by the Mancelona Chapel of the Mortensen Funeral Homes.
