Ernest Allen Pratt

Ernest A. Pratt, 82, of Bellaire, passed away on December 7, 2024 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility. He was born on June 9, 1942, in Reed City, MI, the son of Orsemus and Cleva (Church) Pratt.

Ernest was an Osceola County resident most of his life then moved permanently to Bellaire 15 years ago. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged after 4 years as an E4. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles.

Surviving are 2 sons, Dean (Trish) Pratt of Bellaire, Jason Pratt of Traverse City, 2 grandsons, Collin (Jazmine) Pratt of Grand Rapids, James Bixby of Traverse City, 4 great-grandchildren, Levi, Liam, Evelynn Pratt and Kamden Bixby as well as a sister Katherine (John) Pratt of Reed City, MI.

Preceding him in death were his parents, sisters Marjorie and Iva Jean Pratt as well as an infant brother Kirt Pratt.

Services and burial will take place at a later date in Reed City, MI.
