Elnor Louise LaPeer

Elnor L LaPeer 92 of Bellaire and formerly of East Jordan passed way February 6, 2025 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility. She was born September 6, 1932 in Traverse City the daughter of Charles and Lillian (Lytle) Rose.

 Elnor was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed going to musicals and was an avid Detroit Tigers fans. Elnor also liked bird watching and in her younger years she enjoyed bowling. 

 Surviving are her children Jim (Linda) Zoulek of East Jordan, Bob (Vicki) LaPeer of Central Lake, Char (Eric) Hanson of East Jordan, Tammy (John) Kenney of East Jordan, sisters Maxine Youmans of Battle Creek, Betty Herman of Traverse City, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Niles, sons Brad and Kenny, grandson Kevin, granddaughter Diane, great-great grandson Brayden and brother Don.

 Funeral services will be held Friday, February 14th at 1 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Gary Bekkering officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will follow at the VFW.  Memorial contributions can be given to the Bellaire Senior Center, PO BOX 614, Bellaire, MI 49615.
