Elma Deters

Elma L. "Chick" Deters, 86, of Central Lake Township died June 2, 2015 at her home.

She was born June 21, 1928 in Garfield Township of Newago County to John and Violet (Barber) Puff.

On June 21, 1947 she married Arnold Deters in Fremont where they lived until moving to Central lake Township in 1977. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in June, 2012. Mr. Deters died in July, 2012.

Surviving are her daughters Kathy Shira of Fremont and Denise Deters of Farmington, NY; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Leota Barker, Velda Deters and brothers Jerome Dibble, Robert Dibble, James Puff, Floyd Puff, Howard Puff, Ellis Puff and Paul Puff.
