Elaine Wagner

Elaine A. Wagner, 80, of Bellaire, died peacefully, Friday December 24, 2010 at home. She was born October 25, 1930, in Detroit, the daughter of Otto and Irene (Gray) Ringel. Elaine especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Once she bravely overcame her fear of flying, she became a world traveler with her husband, Dan. Additionally, she enjoyed golf, sewing and bridge. Elaine was a member of the First Congregational Church in Central Lake. On December 29, 1951 she married Daniel E. Wagner who survives. She is also survived by her five children Nancy (Mark) Black of Gilbert, AZ, Reed (Pam) Wagner of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Julie (Matt Howell) Wagner of Franklin, Jane (Bob) Hedges of Kentwood, Dan (Maureen) Wagner of Commerce, and 12 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 31, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Congregational Church in Central Lake with Rev. Don Gordon officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the First Congregational Church, P.O. Box 326, Central Lake, MI, 49622. An interment service will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham.
