Edward Hebden

Edward J. Hebden, 81 of Central Lake, died Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility, in Bellaire. He was born June 11, 1927, in Echo Township, the son of William and Clara (Weisler) Hebden. Ed enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and farming. He also liked to bowl. Ed was a life long resident of Central Lake and was employed by the Antrim County Road Commission for many years. He is survived by his brother Charles (Sally) Hebden of Bellaire, sister Kathleen (Ken) Aenis of Central Lake and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Richard "Si" Hebden and his parents. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 23, 2009, Eleven a.m., at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Dunsmore Cemetery, Echo Twp.
