Edward D. Cunningham, 78 of Central Lake, died peacefully Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at McLaren Northern Michigan.  He was born October 12, 1940 in Atlanta, GA the son of Edward and Emily (Williams) Cunningham.

Edward worked many years for the City of Sebring and Vero Beach, Florida in their power plants.  He was a member of the Pigeon Club, the Antique Car Club and the Vero Beach Recreation Club.  He coached Little League and other sports for over 10 years in Florida.

Edward loved northern Michigan and moved to Central Lake in 1997.  He could fix anything, figure out anything, and do almost anything.  He enjoyed taking photos and looking thru photos.  Family was everything to Edward and he loved spending time with them.

On April 24, 1961 in Berea, Florida he married Paula Ann Allen who survives. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary in April.  Also surviving are his children Tina (Tad) DeForest of Central Lake, Angela (Darryl) Fitzpatrick of Fon Du Lac, WI, Gary Cunningham of Gainsville, FL, Mickey (Alina) Cunningham of Central Lake, Heidi (Clint) Smith of Monroe, FL, brother Kenneth Cunningham of Lake Placid, FL, Gloria (Kelly) Davidson of Avon Park, FL, 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  Preceding him in death are his parents, his sister in-law Karen Cunningham, and nephews Rusty and Lee Cunningham.

No services are planned at this time.  Memorial donations can be directed to the family.
