Douglas Winnell

Douglas C. Winnell, age 71 of Charlevoix passed away on October 12, 2018 at Munson Healthcare Charlevoix Hospital.

Douglas was born on May 15, 1947 in Petoskey to the late Charles and Gail (Crump) Winnell.

Douglas enjoyed reading many novels especially Western’s. He also spent a lot of his time collecting cars, both real and antique car models. He owned many cars throughout the years that he would buy and sell.

On May 15, 1976, in Petoskey, he married Theresa Hollister who survives. He is also survived by his children, C.J. (Breann) Winnell and Caitlyn Winnell both of Charlevoix; grandchildren, Grant, Harrison, Claire and Taylor Winnell all of Charlevoix and sister, Diane Pace.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Winchester Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Petoskey.
