Douglas Finch

Douglas W. Finch, 53, of Mancelona, passed away on January 13, 2015 at his home. Doug was born on February 15, 1961, in Kalkaska, the son of David and Clara (Cushaway) Finch. Doug was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed racing at Northern Michigan Speedway. He also loved cutting wood. On March 19, 1984, in Kalkaska, he married Sherrie Emmert who survives. Also surviving are two children, Tifany Finch of Mancelona, David Finch of Gaylord, his parents David and Clara Finch of Mancelona, two brothers, Rick (Laurie) Finch of Mancelona, Bruce (Tina) Finch of Mancelona, two sisters, Linda Schaffer of Mancelona, Betty (Richard) Swikoski of Mancelona, 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will take place on Saturday, January 17 at 1:00 p.m. at the Antrim Church of Christ in Mancelona. Pastor Mark McCool will officiate. Visitation will be from noon until the time of services at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
