Dortha Arko

Dortha J. Arko,  73, of Mancelona, passed away on August 28, 2021 at the Villa in Traverse City.  She was born March 15, 1948 in York, PA to James Tasker and Leola (Keller) Tasker.

Dortha was a stocker at Great Scot Super Market in Dearborn for 14 years.  She enjoyed traveling and visiting Mackinaw Island, biking, and needlework.

Dortha is survived by a daughter, Samantha (Larry) Mangold of Mancelona, two grandsons; Adam Mangold of Cleveland, TN and Caleb Mangold of Mancelona, as well as a brother Tim, and two sisters Judy and Debra.  She was preceded in death by her husband Bernie Arko, as well as her parents James "Sarge" and Leola "Topsy" Tasker.

Graveside Services will take place Friday, September 10, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Star Township Cemetery in Alba.
