Dorothy Robbins

Dorothy June Robbins, 83, of Mancelona, passed away peacefully at her home on November 17, 2021.  She was born on June 28, 1938 in Dearborn, MI, the daughter of Henry and Myrtle (Wagenschutz) Anthony.

Dorothy graduated from Rapid City High School, and then joined the work force as a press operator for many years at DURA.  In her free time, she enjoyed camping, crafting, fishing, and most importantly, spending time with her family.

On June 29, 1985, Dorothy married Donald Robbins, who survives.  Also surviving are her four children, Tammy(Slim) Hildebrandt, Mike (Carrie) Beaver, Deborah (Albert) Kappheim, and Bill (Toni) Beaver; her step-son, Todd (Carrie) Robbins; her brother, George (Io) Anthony; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Hershel Beaver; a brother, Bob Anthony; and three sisters, Jannamay Penny, Betty Seabolt, and Peggy Anthony.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery in Mancelona.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children, or the American Cancer Society.
