Dorothy Lidster

Dorothy L. Lidster, 56 of Eastport, died Thurs. Jan. 6, 2011, at Munson Medical Center. She was born Dec. 10, 1954 in Pontiac, the daughter of Albert and Suellen (Dixon) Polick. On Oct. 5, 1973, in Pontiac, she married Daniel C. Lidster. Together they have lived in Eastport for the last 17 years. Dorothy was a member of Forgotten Eagles Chapter 6 and the Patriot Guard Rider. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Dorothy especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dan, 5 children Amy (Randy) Lemaster of Grayling, Daniel Lidster Jr. of Eastport, Elizabeth Lidster of Sturgis, Anthony and Johnathon Lidster, both of Eastport, her mother Suellen Polick of Waterford, grandmother Leone Dixon of Kalkaska, 5 grandchildren Ashleigh Lemaster, Adriane and Jennifer Lester, Randi Lemaster, Kylie Sturgis, great grandson Eli Goscicki, 5 brothers Thomas, Douglas, Jim, John and Don, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and grandfather. Funeral services will be held Fri. Jan. 14 at 4 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Jerry Troyer officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
