Doris J. Robinson, age 83 of Petoskey passed away on October 20, 2018 at McLaren Flint Hospital.

Doris was born on April 30, 1935 in Hawesville, KY, to the late John and Eurith (Henderson) Webb. She graduated from South Lake High School as the salutatorian. Doris was employed by the Friendship Center in Petoskey for many years.

She was an active member of the Horton Bay United Methodist Church for many years. Doris was a very faithful woman and loved her church family who were extremely important to her. She had a great passion for studying genealogy especially her and her husband’s families.

Doris is survived by her children, Charles (Becky) Robinson of Branch, MI, Larry Robinson of Mancelona, Daniel Robinson of Central Lake, Lorri (Tom) Nelson of Lebanon, OR, Mark (Maureen) Robinson of Mancelona, Kathy Kehrer of Alpena, Karen Veraldi of Petoskey, Nathan Robinson of Brutus; brother, Jerry (Patti) Webb of Clinton Township, MI; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorman Robinson, son, Michael Robinson, brother Herb Webb, sister Mary Charlotte Webb and her parents.

A private family graveside service will be held shortly. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Horton Bay United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Neihardt officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Horton Bay United Methodist Church, 4961 Boyne City Road, Boyne City, MI 49712.
