Doris Jean Danielson

Doris Jean Danielson, born on August 29, 1931, in Central Lake, peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her family on May 1, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.
 
Doris will be remembered for her devout faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church and was a dedicated musician there for many years. A mentor to countless women, she was actively involved in teaching Bible studies and touched the lives of many with her wisdom and kindness.
 
Apart from her spiritual pursuits, Doris  was an avid reader. She also found joy in participating in activities at the Senior Center and exploring different parts of the world through travel.
 
In her journey of life, Doris cherished the moments spent with her family. She is survived by her loving children: David Danielson of Central Lake, Debbie (Bill) Ehnis of Central Lake, and Mark (Lori) Danielson of Mansfield, TX. She leaves behind a legacy through her 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren who brought light and laughter to her days, Kristina and David Hartsuck with Wesley and Kaitlyn, Aaron and Cathrine Danielson with Angela, Joshua, Luke, and Samantha, Matthew and Allison Danielson with Aria and Benjamin, Sarah and Kyle Bartley with Kaylee and Cassidy, Sheila and Jason Billings with Andrew and Lydia, Stacy and Thomas McCarville with Everett, Watson, and Summer, Shannon and Micah Ray, Nathan Ehnis, Sheri and Ross Holec with Gareth, Brant and Drake, Benjamin Ehnis, Jonathan and Emily Ehnis with Wesley, Vivian, and Kayliann, Susan and James Holec with Levi, Shawna and Joshua Belanger, Erik Danielson, and Ethan Danielson and many nieces and nephews who were very precious to her. 
 
Doris Jean Danielson now rests in peace after reuniting with her husband Wes Danielson. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Nettie (Vance) Watson and siblings: Lula Asquith, Lila Carpenter, Ivan Watson, Avabelle Carpenter, Lucille Peebles, and Ken Watson.
 
A Visitation will be held on May 6, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Mortensen Funeral Homes, Central Lake. Funeral Services will begin at 2:30 PM with interment immediately following in Southern Cemetery.
 
Doris Jean Danielson's life was a testament to love, faith, and compassion. Her memory will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
