Donna Maxine Vincent

Donna M. Vincent,  78, of Mancelona, passed away on April 21, 2022.

   Donna was born on August 24, 1943, in Mancelona, the daughter of Ralph and Lois (Coger) Vincent.

   She was an independent woman who rarely asked for help.   Gardening, canning and rescuing cats were her favorite hobbies, not to mention working hard.   She was in housekeeping at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility for 22 years.

   Surviving are 4 children, Lori (Mike) Grody, Connie Hamilton, Mark Straight all of Mancelona, Bradford Straight of MT and a daughter-in-law to be, Dawn Sizemore.

   In addition to her children, she is survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Leonard and Oscar and 4 sisters, Helen, Nancy, Sonya, Zana, and several nieces and nephews.

   Preceding her in death were a son Craig Straight, brother Dennis, sister Sharon and her parents.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.

   At 2:00 p.m. there will be a time for memory sharing.
