Donna Sterrett

Donna L. Sterrett age 80 of Charlevoix passed away on December 19, 2017 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.

Donna was born on March 17, 1937 in Detroit to the late Thomas and Louise (Huber) Goad. She was a graduate of Michigan State University. Donna wintered in Vero Beach, Florida and spent her summers in the Boyne area that she loved. She was a committee member for the Boyne Falls Polish Festival for over 40 years as well as a founding member of the Boyne City Yacht Club. Donna enjoyed spending her free time antiquing, reading, shopping and living on Lake Charlevoix.

Donna is survived by her sons, Todd (Nicole) Sterrett of Charlevoix and Scott Sterrett of Salt Lake City, Utah; brother, Ron (Kaye) Goad of Naples, Florida; 6 grandchildren, Sage, Jessica, Libby, Phillip, Patrick and Garrison.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Bob Sterrett, and her parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Donna’s name may be directed to the Bergmann Center or Community Reformed Church in Charlevoix.
